Social media plays a key role in everyday operations for small business owners. (For several years, Instagram and Pinterest have helped us to connect with our clients more than any other resource.) Every day, we use a unique strategy for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest — so today, we wanted to share 3 creative ways to use social media in your business!

3 Creative Ways to Use Social Media

  1. Use Instagram stories to share about your creative process. Instagram stories are a great way to connect with your audience. For many business owners, it can be challenging to step away from the “curated perfection” of an Instagram feed and use Instagram stories in a more candid, spontaneous way. Our challenge to you: Use Instagram stories to share about your creative process with your clients. What is it like to work with you? How seamless is the process? What are you most proud of? Answering these questions can help you and your business to be perceived in a more authentic way.
  2. Use Facebook live to connect with your audience in real-time. Facebook live is a great resource for connecting with your audience in real-time. Use Facebook live to share about a specific topic, to answer audience questions, or simply to connect with your audience in a more authentic, candid way.
  3. Use Pinterest to allow your blog content to flourish. Pinterest is not only a great place to gather inspiration, but it is also a great place to share your content or share your work. Pinterest can be an awesome tool for small business owners when used properly!
