However, Instagram is an ever-changing social media platform, and using Instagram “correctly” can sometimes seem like a puzzle. Today, we’re excited to share 3 tips for better Instagram engagement — to help you connect with your audience, no matter the season of business you are in.
3 Tips for Better Instagram Engagement
- Include a call-to-action within every post. The easiest tip we can offer for better Instagram engagement is to provide a call-to-action within every Instagram post you write. Something like: “Tag a friend who needs this encouragement today.” or “Comment below with one word to describe your brand.” The easier the call-to-action is for your audience to complete, the better. (People have full schedules, so engaging should be quick and easy, yet meaningful.)
- Provide meaningful, engaging comments and responses as often as you can. Be sure to respond to the comments you receive in a meaningful way. Further, be sure to provide meaningful comments for others. The more you engage with your audience and Instagrammers beyond your audience, the greater sense of community you can create — which, in turn, leads to better Instagram engagement.
- Use Instagram stories to tell a more engaging story. Finally, use Instagram stories to tell a more engaging story about your posts, your business, your mission, and more. Not only can you share your recent Instagram posts on Instagram story, but you can also “show up” on Instagram stories; you can show your face, you can talk about your posts, you can ask for engagement, and you bring the ‘social’ into social media!
