Book With Grace and Gold's all-new Website in a Day Experience:

Need your new website quickly?

In a hurry?

Hello and welcome to Brand It, Build It Podcast! I’m your host, Kelly Zugay, and I’m so excited to spend time with you today. In today’s episode, we’re exploring one of my favorite topics: repurposing marketing content. As business owners, creating content is a significant investment of our time, energy, and creativity. But the good news is—your content doesn’t have to be created just once and forgotten. By repurposing, you can maximize the value of every blog post, social media caption, and newsletter you create. Let’s dive into 7 creative ways to repurpose your marketing content!

7 Ways to Repurpose Marketing Content for Small Business Growth - With Grace and Gold - Brand It Build It Podcast - 1

Transform a Blog Post into an Email Newsletter

If you’ve written a value-packed blog post, don’t let it stop there. Use that content as the foundation for your next email newsletter. For example, if you wrote a blog post like “5 Mistakes to Avoid When Designing Your Website,” you can repurpose it into an email by condensing the points into quick tips. Add a personal note at the beginning, and voilà—you have a ready-to-send newsletter that connects with your audience and encourages them to read the full post on your website.

Turn a Social Media Caption into a Carousel Post

Have you ever written a long-form caption that really resonated with your audience? That same caption can be turned into an Instagram carousel. For instance, if your caption included a step-by-step guide, break it down into bite-sized pieces, with each step being its own slide. Use eye-catching visuals and end with a strong call-to-action, like “Save this post for later” or “Let me know your favorite tip!”

Use a Blog Post as a Script for a Podcast Episode

If blogging is part of your content strategy, your posts are likely packed with valuable insights. These can serve as an excellent foundation for podcast episodes. For example, if you’ve written a post like “How to Attract More Clients Through Your Website,” use the key points as an outline for your next episode. Add your personality and additional examples to make it feel fresh and engaging.

Share Client Questions as Social Media Content

We all receive questions from clients or customers, and answering them thoughtfully can help build trust and credibility. If a client recently asked something like, “What’s the best way to organize my email list?” answer the question in a quick Instagram Story, a LinkedIn post, or even a TikTok video. Questions like these resonate because they’re real and relatable.

Create Short Videos from Long-Form Content

Whether it’s a webinar, workshop, or even a live event, your long-form content can be repurposed into bite-sized videos for Instagram Reels or TikTok. For example, let’s say you hosted a workshop about creating a marketing strategy. Break down the highlights into short, actionable tips. Each tip can become its own video, complete with text overlays or captions for added accessibility.

Combine Social Media Posts into a Guide

Your social media posts can be grouped together to create something entirely new. For example, if you’ve shared a series of tips about branding over time, compile them into a guide. You can use Canva to design the guide and offer it as a free download for your audience. This is an excellent way to build your email list while providing even more value.

Use Testimonials as Social Proof Content

Testimonials are one of the most powerful tools for your business, and they deserve to be showcased in more than one way. Let’s say a client left you a glowing review about how your services transformed their business. Share that testimonial on your website, feature it in your newsletter, and create a quote graphic for Instagram. You could even include it in a case study in your portfolio or a client story on your blog.

And there you have it—7 creative ways to repurpose your marketing content! By reimagining your existing content, you can save time, extend the life of your content, and connect with your audience in new and meaningful ways.

As we wrap up today’s episode, I encourage you to choose one piece of content you’ve already created and brainstorm two or three ways you can repurpose it this week.

If today’s episode was helpful, I’d love for you to share it with a fellow business owner or leave a review. Your support means so much to me and helps Brand It, Build It continue to grow. Thanks for tuning in!
