  2. My brand only belongs on my website. Your brand should “permeate” every area of your small business — from your online presence to your stationery to the way you communicate with your audience and prospective clients. If your brand is elegant and polished, this should not only be shown through your logo and web design, but it should also be shown in the way you communicate with your audience. Using eloquent, client-focused language will help you to boost your brand recognition and be perceived in the same elegant way your brand communicates. Consistency is key among all areas of your business.
  3. My branding can’t change or evolve. Your brand can certainly change and evolve over time, especially if you come to find that you are not connecting with your Ideal Client. Perhaps you’ve gained years of experience, or you’ve changed styles, products, services, or goals completely. Your brand can definitely change and evolve over time — so long as it changes and evolves in a purposeful way.
