3 Tips for a Successful Branding Experience

  1. Be open. The very first piece of advice we give to our clients at With Grace and Gold is, “We encourage you to be open-minded. To help you experience a fresh, new season of business, we will be presenting fresh, new design concepts for your review.” We wholeheartedly believe that, to experience an all-new season of business ownership, sometimes, business owners need to pursue an all-new approach to their brand. This means you may need to step beyond your comfort zone. It also means you may come away with a design unlike anything you had envisioned – which is great! Openness will allow your designer to think creatively, to push boundaries, and to ensure you come away with a design all your own.
  2. Consider your Ideal Client. When designing brands, we consider the preferences of our clients, of course – but we also “factor in” the preferences of their Ideal Client. We want to ensure your brand looks and feels like you – and we also want to ensure your brand is something your Ideal Client will be drawn to, too! Along the way, consider the unique preferences of your Ideal Client – and consider what your brand will be “saying” to your Ideal Client. When you keep your Ideal Client in mind, you can make a more well-rounded decision for your brand and your business.
  3. Consider your complete brand. This tip may seem counterintuitive, because we have definitely witnessed the power of purposeful branding. However, we also know branding goes well beyond one design; branding includes your copywriting, your services, your approach, your style, your online presence as a whole – and so much more. It’s important to consider the variety of ways your business is showcased. (In other words, a successful brand is made up of more than your logo design.) Polish each and every area of your business and brand, keep aligned with your brand, and notice how beautifully everything comes together! (We hope this alleviates some of the pressure your logo can cause.)
