Something we love so much about With Grace and Gold, is that it has given us an opportunity to serve women from all over the country, and all over the world! As a result, our primary method of communication is e-mail. Not only is e-mail easiest when each Client we serve is working from a different time zone, but e-mail helps us to share deliverables (Logo Design, Stationery Design) in a user-friendly way! Needless to say, we get pretty excited about e-mail communication!
While not using e-mail templates may seem like an inefficiency overlooked in our business, it’s actually something we have done purposefully – and something we take a lot of pride in! Today, we’re sharing why:
Why We Never Use E-Mail Templates
- Our Clients have invested in a personalized experience. At With Grace and Gold, our greatest passion is providing a personalized experience for every Client we serve. This means they’ll be working directly with Andra and myself in a collaborative and personal way. We want each Client to feel like a priority – because they are – and to know that we are truly spending time getting to know their business and their vision, and to know that we are dedicated to providing a personalized experience. We hope that writing detailed, thoughtful e-mails to address their questions, concerns, or needs conveys exactly that!
- Templates tend to require some editing. In other words, we couldn’t use templates – even if we wanted to! Every Client comes to us with a unique business journey and a unique vision. Using a template would require editing on our end, to ensure the information is exactly relevant to the Client’s needs. As a result, writing a full e-mail may actually be a time-saver, after all!
- We appreciate personal e-mails, too! We like to think of our e-mail communication as an example of the Golden Rule! We love receiving personal e-mails and knowing that our questions and concerns aren’t being responded to in an automated way. We love the feeling of someone bringing TLC to the e-mail writing process!
This is not to say we are totally against automated e-mails or e-mail templates, we simply wanted to provide a few considerations. To be honest, we are pretty serious about efficiency over here! However, along the way, we have found that the personal approach to e-mail is something we feel passionately about and want to continue giving through our business.
