At With Grace and Gold, we have been beyond honored to serve more than 300 creative women in business through purposeful brand and web design. Over the years, we’ve discovered: As small business owners, we never stop learning. We’ve learned so much from each client we’ve had the joy of serving. Today, we wanted to share 3 lessons we’ve learned after creating more than 300 brands.
3 Lessons We’ve Learned After Creating More Than 300 Brands
- Brand design is a foundation. We’ve learned brand design, though essential for small businesses, is only a foundation. How the brand is used throughout a web design, how the brand is conveyed through social media marketing, and how the brand is used following our experience together matter, too. Brand design is only a foundation — and having a polished, professional brand doesn’t necessarily mean your business will be successful. It’s what you do with your brand that matters.
- Consistency is key. Along those same lines, consistency is key. Consistently use your brand’s color palette, font styles, and details day after day, post after post. Being consistent when using your brand helps to build brand awareness. Additionally, it helps to ensure you’re perceived as a professional — an established business your prospective clients can trust.
- Your brand can be as unique as you are. We wholeheartedly believe your brand should celebrate your uniqueness. When your brand is a reflection of your heart, your purpose, and your story — doors can open. Your Ideal Client can connect with you in a truly meaningful way. Doing what is working well for another business owner simply won’t do; you and your business are deserving of a one-of-a-kind brand to tell your story.
