From June 29 – July 1, 2018, we hosted our very first With Grace and Gold Workshop! The With Grace and Gold Workshop is a business workshop for designers — designers who create beautiful designs, and are ready to create beautiful businesses to match. From beginning to end, The With Grace and Gold Workshop teaches business owners to build strong, sustaining, successful businesses from the inside out.
The With Grace and Gold Workshop
The With Grace and Gold Workshop was held at 514 Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 514 Studios is a beautiful loft-style event space. When we saw the big windows, natural light, and beautiful hardwood floors, we knew 514 Studios would be the perfect location for our workshop. We loved how open and spacious Suite 200 was. It was perfect for our small, dedicated group of designers!
Furniture rentals were provided by Collected & Co. We have to say: Collected & Co.’s selection and service are both amazing. For any business owners in the Twin Cities, we wholeheartedly recommended Collected & Co. for furniture rentals!
Before the workshop began, Andra and I assembled a “eucalyptus wall.” This was a last-minute idea, and we still feel so excited that the eucalyptus wall actually worked. This was the perfect backdrop for attendees’ Instagram photos and professional head shots at the end of the workshop weekend!
The With Grace and Gold Workshop Sponsors
Minny & Paul, a Twin Cities-based business shared these sweet, handy tote bags and enamel pins. The attendees definitely appreciated having a tote bag to carry all of their “workshop swag” in. We love how sweet and simple these products are, and we so appreciate Minny & Paul’s generosity!
Kate George of Kate George PNW, a sweet attendee, was kind enough to share these productivity notepads with her fellow attendees! We love the focus on gratitude at the start of every day.
Val Marie Paper shared prayer cards with our attendees. Not only are these prayer cards beautiful, but they are filled with so much purpose.
Cultivate What Matters generously shared copies of Cultivate: A Grace-Filled Guide to Growing an Intentional Life. We’ve already received feedback from attendees that these books have made a difference in their lives and businesses, as they approach new seasons in both.
Our sweet friend and hand letterer, Lauren Heim of Lauren Heim Studio, sweetly sponsored beautiful mugs with our favorite “You are so much more than enough” lettering – as well as a discount to her brush lettering course. Brush lettering is such a helpful skill for designers, and there’s no better instructor than Lauren!
Additional sweet vendors and sponsors not photographed include:
- Coffee Cart MPLS: On Saturday morning, Coffee Cart served up the most amazing drinks from their super cute coffee cart!
- Minnyspoons: Minnyspoons sweetly donated spreads and energy balls, which were beyond delicious!
- Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe: Amy’s kindly donated mini cupcakes and macarons. Also so delicious!
- BoxFox: BoxFox generously donated a discount to our attendees.
- Rachel Allene: Rachel oh-so-kindly donated an art print.
- Minnies Cookies: Minnies Cookies sweetly donated a discount to our attendees.
- Paige Hulse: The Creative Law Shop: Paige generously donated a discount to our attendees.
We are so eternally grateful for the sweet sponsors of The With Grace and Gold Workshop! They helped our attendees to feel welcome and special from beginning to end.
